Investing in Tickets for Good

Published on 08/09/2026

We’re proud to share our latest investment in Tickets for Good: a UK-based startup that connects people facing barriers to live events with free or heavily discounted tickets donated by event organisers, venues, and promoters.

Founded in 2022, Tickets for Good operates on a simple premise: spare tickets that would otherwise go unsold can do something meaningful. Healthcare workers, charity staff and volunteers, teachers, and people receiving cost of living support can access tickets to incredible events at low or no cost. From a night at a local venue to a major festival or arena show, every ticket creates an opportunity to connect, recharge, make memories and feel part of something bigger.

The numbers reflect real momentum: more than 750,000 verified members globally, over 1,200 event partners, and more than 1.25 million tickets distributed since launch. Revenue doubled in 2025.

We’re investing as part of a €4.5 million round, alongside NPIF II – Mercia Ventures, Finance Yorkshire, Leansquare, and private investors.

Why We Invested

We believe culture is a right, not a privilege: live events shape communities, mental health, and a sense of belonging, but too many people are priced out of them.

Tickets for Good addresses that with a model that works on both sides: event partners fill unused capacity and bring new audiences into their venues, while members access experiences they couldn’t otherwise afford.

With operations already spanning the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and the US, this is not an untested idea. It is a platform with traction, looking to grow further and faster.

“Tickets for Good is a strong example of the kind of company we want to support: commercially ambitious, highly scalable and built around a clear social purpose. By making live events more accessible to people who too often face barriers to participation, the company is creating meaningful impact in a sector with enormous cultural and social value. We are excited to support the team in this next phase of growth.”

What’s Next

With the new capital, Tickets for Good will deepen its international footprint, grow the number of event partners and members on the platform, and create 10 new jobs in Sheffield over the next three years.

We look forward to supporting Steve and the team as they prove that access to culture can be both a social mission and a strong business.
