Our Story

Built on over a decade of impact investing

Our story begins with SI2, launched and founded by Piet Colruyt in 2012. After 3 years Pieter Oostlander took over the fund management and with the launch of SI3 and the onboarding of Jamy Goewie as general partner, we brought all entities under one strong brand; Shaping Impact Group.

The basis of our work has always been to back strong social enterprises with a model to scale both impact and business. As one of the first impact funds we have been building the impact sector alongside other social financiers. Over time, we evolved into rigorous investors, helping ventures with strong commercial models grow and thrive.

With SI3 Fund, we focused on companies that directly build a more inclusive, safe and fair society – our thematic sweet spot and defining identity.

Today, as we prepare for SI4 Fund, we bring together these lessons to support ventures capable of meaningful, scalable change. Our goal remains to build a lasting impact ecosystem, combining capital, hands-on support, and a commitment to measurable, sustainable impact.
